Joe Budden has responded to controversial comments he made about rappers Method Man and Melle Mel in response to Vibe magazine’s Best Rapper list. 
Joe Budden took issue with a number of rappers who were placed on the list above him and called many of those rappers out by name. Both Method Man and rap pioneer Melle Mel took issues with Budden’s unflattering comments and each responded.
Method Man called into Ed Lover’s Power 105.1, while Melle Mel dropped an unflattering video comparing his career to Buddens‘. Joe Budden told. “Maybe because of the name value. My argument was a valid argument, but by that time I was on a tangent. I wasn’t even talking about the list.”
